Festival is an exciting new team game designed by Caroline and Jeremy Mosdell. The teams go around a music festival site where they have to collect backstage passes in a variety of ways, all guaranteed to make everyone laugh.
It is easy to learn, quick to set up and different each time played. At first glance it looks like a very simple roll and move game where a lot depends on luck. Festival is very different though; the essence of this game lies in the interaction and self-expression of the people playing. The game encourages spontaneous improvisation and creativity and it brings the free, uncomplicated, fun atmosphere of a festival right into your home. You can be as witty, outrageous and entertaining as you like whilst carrying out the prompt cards. This game brings friends together in an easy going, fun and playful way.
Basically; it is a really good laugh.
The length of the game can be changed by deciding beforehand how many Backstage Passes are needed before going to the Main Stage to finish the game. There are 6 Stages in total including the Main Stage.
The game can also be played with small children in a ‘Snakes and Ladders’ kind of way, but it is a little more fun as there are cards and bottles to collect. With small children you have to make sure they above 3 years old; old enough not to swallow the little bottles!
